Meath Made Creates is coming to Trim!!

We are all very excited in Meath Made about our upcoming two-day festival of craft and creativity in the Swift Cultural Centre Trim Co. Meath. Our members will occupy this beautiful building on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of August as part of the national August Craft Month calendar. https://augustcraftmonth.org/

Our event includes a craft fair in the church space with fourteen members selling their work as well as an art exhibition throughout the building with glass, textiles, prints, drawings and paintings on display.

We have a timetable of workshops and demonstrations for all ages from morning to evening. Bookings can be made at the Swift Cultural Centre Trim, Trim. Make sure to book early to avoid disappointment. https://swiftculturalcentre.ie/

We have free demonstrations in soap making and pyrography https://swiftculturalcentre.ie/ Our workshops include wet felting, needle felting, eco jewellery making, embroidery, portrait drawing, palette knife painting and pottery. Many workshops can be attended by teenagers along with adults making them a lovely way to spend quality time together. Children can try painting, weaving, drawing or creative photography while mum and dad can have a coffee and listen to Jennifer Leahy harpist play in the foyer.

Meath Made is going from strength to strength!! Huge thanks go to Meath county council and https://www.localenterprise.ie/Meath/ for their continued support. This support allows us to plan with confidence for an exciting event like this. We hope our August festival will become an annual event and part of the cultural calendar in the Royal County and why not make a weekend of it and stay and experience all that Boyne Valley has to offer https://www.discoverboynevalley.ie/

Hope to see you there!!
